“Be very wary of the 10th of February. Anonymous invites you to join us in an act of solidarity…Join us in protest outside of Scientology centers world wide.“
If we think that cults like scientology are destructive then should the church support anything that could bring their downfall like the attacks of Anonymous.
Yet are we then going against freedom, freedom to express faith and belief however crazy others may see it? If the church were to support actions like that of Anonymous or any other action against another faith/belief system then can the church complain when it itself is subjected to hate crimes or persecution?

i completely agree with anonymous, as long as they are not doing anything illegal. the video is a little scary, tho.
once i had a scientologist tell me that christianity and scientology were similar, and that i could be christian and still be a scientologist. but my friend trevor’s mom used to be a christian. she was converted to scientology and they told her she couldn’t go to church. when trevor and his dad tried to get her out of it, scientology people told her she couldn’t talk to her family anymore and forced her to get a DIVORCE, which is AGAINST GOD’S LAW!
no one else is fighting scientology but them, so i agree.
“Yet are we then going against freedom, freedom to express faith and belief however crazy others may see it?” It’s not a belief system, rather it is a means to avoid taxes & legal investigation for a pyramid scheme that disguises itself as a form of psychoanalysis (dianetics) which you pay through the nose for. What little ‘theology’ that surrounds Scientology has only to do with feeding the paranoid narcissism of its founder.
SafeinHisLove84 what you describe is a very common practice called ‘disconnection’; families have been broken up with absolutely no contact for decades because of it. It happens when a relative attempts to set their loved one straight about Scientology. If they push the issue they will be declared a ’suppressive person’ and become the target of a barrage of frivolous law suits and a dirty-tricks campaign.
